For Poland’s commemoration of 100 Years Regained Independence since the end of World War I, the Polish National Ballet has created a unique production consisting in two new ballets, to the two piano concertos composed by Poland’s most prominent composer, Frederik Chopin.

This piece (Piano Concerto No. 2 in F Minor) represents the socio-political processes within the Polish nation and aestheticized struggles of groups personifying various ideological attitudes that shaped the history of Poland throughout the last century.

A great impression was made by gradually flooding the stage and stage design with a red light and entering a group of red Dogmathians.
