Journey Unfinished was created by Akram Khan, and commissioned especially as a solo-piece for the Chinese dance star Xiaoyi Hua.
At times, one little girl appears, and in addition, nearly 30 non-professional participants emerge from the distance during the last seconds of the piece.

The piece explores one’s reconciliation with the inner self and the attachment to the child in us, to memories and to after-life, in a journey of self-reflection that simultaneously exists across the past, the present and the future, the physical and metaphysical.
