Performance Design Award-winning at World Stage Design 2022

Wonderful news!
Yaron Abulafia has been awarded by the international jury of WORLD STAGE DESIGN 2022 held in Clgary Canada the Third Prize in the category of Professional Performance Design for the scenography and lighting design of IMPULS by choreographer Roman Novitzky, artist in residence and house choreographer of The Stuttgart Ballet.
World Stage Design (WSD) is organized once in 4 years and exhibits some of the most innovative and unique designs for the performing arts that appeared on the international stage during the four years prior to the exhibition.  
 
The Award was presented at the award ceremony held in Calgary on August 12th 2022, by the organizing committee of WSD, OISTAT (International Organisation of Scenographers
Theatre Architects and Technicians), CITT (Canadian Institute for Theatre Technology) and the University of Calgary which hosted this edition of WSD.
 
Thank you for the honorable jury members of WSD 2022 for choosing the work, thanks to all the people who shared this journey - Artistic director: Tamas Detrich. Krzysztof Nowogrodzki, Fraenzi Guenther and Annabelle Gausmann and the entire Stuttgart Ballet Company, the wonderful artists collaborators – choreography: Roman Novitzky, Music: Marc Strobel, and costumes: Aliki Tsakalou, what a joy it was to create with you, and the great colleagues in the various theatre departments - Guido Schneitz, Bernhard Leykauf, Manuel Willi, Hendrik Wilde, Tobias Laaber, Monika Hoeger, Jeorg Schuchardt, Roediger Benz, David Sazinger, Aiki and Jannes, the lighting programmers team, and everyone in the theatre who made this dream come true.
